Salon Managers are a driving force behind our successful salons with a multitude of responsibilities to relish. They must:
We are looking for an innovative, dynamic, and commercial thinker to elevate your team and your salon’s potential. You’ll be target driven and committed to continuously maximising profit, but also able to inspire and motivate your team so they’re happy to make client experience their number-one priority. Maintaining and enhancing team morale will be a big part of your job.
We expect you to be a creative, bold and well-informed artist, and excited to continue honing your abilities throughout your career. But, when you work at Rush, it’s not all about the hair. We’ll give you the tools you need to succeed in all of the above, and more!
You’ll manage the day-to-day running of the salon, including rota creation and ordering supplies. People management will be a significant factor in your success; ensuring your staff members have everything they need to work happily and effectively.
You’ll meet targets and strive to encourage loyal clients and grow the new-client pipeline. An outgoing and friendly attitude is a must to show yourself as a true Rush ambassador, and be a role model to your team, promoting best practice with great integrity.
Commercial experience in a management role and a goal-orientated approach to profits are what’s desired from our Salon Managers.
For those applying for a Stylist Manager role you must hold at least an NVQ Level 2 in Hairdressing or an equivalent qualification.
For a full-time, permanent Salon Manager position, you can earn between £30,000 and £40,000 per year, experience and quality depending. For our Stylist Salon Managers, you will have enhanced earning potential on our commission scheme of up to 35%.
Your loved ones will be pleased too, as you’ll benefit from a 40% friends and family discount, as well as 20% off all professional homecare products.
Our superior courses and training schemes are at your fingertips, and you can get involved with fun, social competitions to broadcast your skills and earn awards.
With bespoke, fully paid training (both creative and educational), we’ll set you up as a successful leader. You’ll learn from, and be guided by, our highly creative and innovative team, who lead the internal training programmes at our very own Rush Academy. The opportunities to progress don’t end at management either, with potential Head Office roles to work towards.
Lead by our Rush Area Managers, our service training days are designed to to underpin the core values of who we are as a brand, empowering all individuals to collectively deliver the best salon experience to all our clients.
You will be supported through your journey as a new leader with Rush. You will be paired with an amazing and experienced leader within the business who can show you the ropes and support your journey. Your mentor will be available for any questions and training support you may require.
If it sounds like you’d be the perfect fit, we’d love to hear from you:
